Subject: Workers’ Compensation as a Corporate Shield — Not Worker Protection

Subject: Workers’ Compensation as a Corporate Shield — Not Worker Protection

What happened to me is not unique. It follows a pattern seen across major American employers, where workers’ compensation laws are used to protect corporations instead of injured workers.

1. Hershey (Kansas)
- Injured standing on concrete without safety mats
- Company safety videos state Hershey must provide mats
- Mats were available; request denied
- No injury report filed

Result: Workers’ comp protected the company, not the worker.

2. Tyson Foods
- Injuries underreported or misclassified
- Treatment delayed
- Workers’ comp limited liability

3. Smithfield / Meatpacking
- Injury reporting discouraged
- Claims routed exclusively through workers’ comp

4. Poultry Processing
- Standing injuries minimized
- Workers’ comp used to contain claims

5. Auto Manufacturing & Suppliers
- Injuries labeled preexisting
- Workers’ comp blocked discovery

My case exists because workers’ compensation laws give corporations a place to hide. These laws allow companies to violate safety rules, deny medical care, manipulate injury classifications, and seal evidence away from juries. This is a failure of the law itself.

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S PROMISE (WORD FOR WORD)

“Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.
I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America
that our children deserve — and that you deserve.”

— President Donald J. Trump
