Trump letter 3

Who cares?
Not the press.
Not the President.
Not lawmakers.
President Trump promised to fight for American workers every single day.
Instead, he's busy avenging wrongs done to him.
What about the wrongs done to us?
And the press—where are you?
Your own ethics codes say:
Seek Truth & Report It.
Minimize Harm to vulnerable individuals.
Here's the truth nobody wants to report:
Corporations like Hershey hurt employees across this country every single day.
And when it happens, the system that's supposed to protect workers protects the corporation instead.
I was injured on the job.
They chose not to file a legally required injury report.
They refused to provide medical treatment.
They ignored disability accommodation laws even though they knew I had neuropathy.
They violated OSHA safety rules despite knowing the risk.
Their own training videos say Hershey is responsible for providing rubber safety mats that were available—but not provided.
They stole time.
They retaliated.
And when I went to a workers' compensation lawyer, I was told none of that mattered.
That all I had was a workers' compensation case.
No jury.
No discovery.
No accountability.
The broken laws I just described didn't matter.
The injuries didn't matter.
The violations didn't matter.
Workers' compensation works because injured workers don't know their rights.
And the system depends on that ignorance.
Who cares?
Because if no one does, this will keep happening.
To the next worker.
To you.
To every American employee who doesn't know better.
This is a well-hidden trap.
And it's time people started paying attention.
